For the past 25 years BAART has provided free and low cost primary care, substance abuse treatment, and other health services.

BAART is a non-profit corporation committed to providing affordable comprehensive health care services to unserved and underserved individuals in California.

Our physicians and Licensed Nurse Practitioners provide care at six convenient California Licensed Community Clinic locations throughout the greater Los Angeles County and San Francisco County.

Our Mission 

BAART’s mission is to provide people with cost-effective, comprehensive health care services at its clinics or through community linkages, and to make such services available to as many people as possible who seek them. Further, BAART conducts research into the provision of health care services to historically marginalized populations. Finally, BAART advocates on behalf of low-income and indigent populations in order to increase their access to high-quality, cost-effective health care services. By doing so, BAART programs can foster the health, happiness, longevity of each of the communities within which BAART operates.
